Recently reopened after being completely renovated, Lawford's is the oldest hotel on the Kenyan coast and one of the most beautiful hotels in Malindi. Here there is no mistaking that inimitable "old England" atmosphere in an African setting. In a sophisticated but relaxing environment, international standards blend with Italian hospitality. The resort, situated in the centre of Malindi, is nestled in a magnificent tropical garden teeming with native plants, overlooking a wide beach. It is located 120 km from the Mombasa international airport.
The hotel has 56 rooms: 16 Two Bedrooms Suite and 40 Suites. All rooms have a spacious veranda overlooking the garden, a large bathroom, air conditioning, bed with mosquito net, hair dryer and 220 volts electricity. The suites are equipped with TV, minibar, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities. The Two Bedrooms Suite are ideal for couples of friend or families.
